- Then launch the application Terminal (Also from Applications/Utilities/) and type the following command:
sudo /Applications/Install OS X Yosemite.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled --applicationpath /Applications/Install OS X Yosemite.app –nointeraction- When asked, enter administrator password (necessary to use the command sudo), then press Return To start creating installer on USB Drive
- then wait for the process to end (it can take up to half an hour); When the message is displayed Copy complete.Done. give exit to the terminal
