One of the new ones characteristics of the operating system Windows 7, it is possible to preview in icons the applications open in the taskbar (taskbar application thumbnails). If you have three open tab-s in Internet Explorer, it is enough to move the mouse cursor over the icon IEof the taskbar and wait about a second to be able to preview the open tabs.
This waiting time until opening thumbnail, for some users it may be too small or …too big time set default it is 400 ms, but it can be modified very easily from the registries (regedit).
Here are the steps that must be followed to be able to change the preview time of the applications open in the taskbar.
1. Open the windows registry editor. (Start -> Run -> regedit)
2. In the navigation bar on the left side of the editor, go to: HKEY_Current_USERControl PanelMouse
3. In the list of registers, double-click on “MouseHoverTime“, and the dialog box that will open, sub “Value Time” you have the option to change the waiting time.
After you give a restart on the computer you will see the effect of this change. Recommended time for MouseHoverTime is between 30 and 2000. We do not advise anyone to try the value 0 for this option.
