By default, on operating systems Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, the folder OneDrive is created on the system partition. We are not saying that it would not be a good thing for this folder to be located on the partition on which the operating system and installed applications are installed, but if we have limited storage space on the system partition, the OneDrive folder could be inconvenient. Especially if it is one cont OneDrive platit with 1 TB storage space.
To avoid occupying the available storage space on the system partition, we can move the OneDrive folder to another hard disk partition or even to an external hard disk.
How can we move the OneDrive folder to another partition, in Windows 10
1. Right-click on the OneDrive icon in the lower-right corner and click on Settings.

2. In tab-ul “Settings“, click pe “Unlink OneDrive“. You can also do this if you want to log in another OneDrive account on your PC.

3. After you click on “Unlink OneDrive”, the screen will open“welcome” of OneDrive. Click on the button “Get started”

4. Va authenticate with user(e-mail address) and word your OneDrive account.

5. After authentication, the screen will appear where you have to we change the location of the OneDrive folder. By default, it is located in C:\Users\username\OneDrive. Clock on the button “Change” si alegeti noua locatie. D:\OneDrive, de exemplu.

After this step, all that remains is to choose which folders from your OneDrive account you want to be synchronized on the PC.
