With the new one design for Windows 8, Microsoft made a series of changes in visual effects of the system, such as removing the shadow under almost any item, including under mouse cursor. If you are a fan of us Windows interfaces, but you don't want to give up everything design elements which you have become accustomed to Windows 7 or Windows Vista, and you want to re-enable the shadow under the cursor, follow the steps below.

- open Windows Explorer and click-right click on Computer (in the left panel)
- In the displayed menu, select Properties

- in the open window (Control Panel) Click on Advanced system settings

- sub Performance, click on the button Settings

- in the displayed list, check the option Show shadows under mouse pointer, then click on OK

And that's it. The shadow under the mouse cursor that you are used to from previous Windows 8 operating systems will appear again. Enjoy!
