Was launched Facebook Home for Android
A few days ago (about ten to be exact), Facebook announces the launch of a new Android applications, Facebook Home, designed to offer users a completely new experience in terms of connecting to social network. Although for a long time it was speculated that Facebook builds your own smartphone or even your own operating system for phones, the new Facebook product is actually a launcher for android which replaces lock screen-ul and home screen-ul phones, displaying them update-uri, PICTURES and MESSAGES from the social network.

Facebook Home change the way users Android interact both with their own phones and with the Facebook service itself: after installing the application, when they open or "wake up" the phone, they will see displayed, both on the Lock screen and on the Home screen, a condensed version of News Feed, called Coverfeed.
First of all, the Coverfeed contains advertisement (because this is how Facebook makes money, again the application is free), but they are displayed discreetly. But it will also mean a continuous update of what happens with Facebook friends: share photos by them displayed as much as the whole screen, link-uri and Status Updates posted. In addition, you can navigate between updates with a simple swipe, and to give like a simple double-tap is only necessary for a picture or a status (it does not have to be opened Facebook application itself).

Another interesting feature of Facebook Home is Chatheads-ul, this representing Shortcuts for conversations with friends, displayed in the form of small circles that contain profile pictures of them; tapping on these will display the entire conversation, regardless of whether it is held on Facebook Chat or vineyard IM. Switching between one conversation and another is very simple, by tapping on the displayed Chatheads, and if one of your friends tries to open a conversation, the circle with his profile picture will appear over the currently open application, regardless of whether it is browser, of player or by one joc.
And if you ask how the other installed applications can be accessed on the Android phone, this is done very simply (without the need to exit the Facebook Home application), giving tap on the circle with the user's profile picture (and the owner of the phone), which replaces the home button.
Well, starting a few hours ago, Facebook Home is available for download on Google Play. Unfortunately, currently only for the United States, and the bad news doesn't end there. If the country restriction can be passed relatively simply by downloading app apk, Facebook Home it is not compatible except with a few models of smartphone cu Android, namely HTC One, HTC One and HTC One X, Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 2. And, of course, HTC First, the phone released today on which the application comes pre-installed.

If you own one of the smartphone models mentioned above and you are on the territory of the United States (or know how to avoid the country restriction), you can download the Facebook Home application via Google Play. If you are not in the US, but still own one of the smartphones above, you can download the application Using the link below:
Note: If you do not have any of the phones listed in the compatibility list, there is no point in downloading the application; after installation, when you try to launch it, you will be greeted by the message "Thanks for installing Facebook Home. Your device is not supported yet. You'll get a notification when Facebook Home is ready for your device" and a button that says "Go to Facebook" (the application itself).
