Google and LG have recently launched smartphone-ul Nexus 5, this coming bundled with the newest one Android system, namely Android 4.4 KitKat. The new Android comes bundled with many changes, both at interface as well as regarding applications, most of them having improved appearance and functionality (Camera, Maps, QuickOffice, Keep, Clock, Keyboard etc), as well as with a nou launcher, Google Experience Launcher, this being by far the best looking launcher stock of the Android operating system so far.
Desi Android 4.4 KitKat will only be available for a limited number of Android devices already existing on the market (Nexus 10, Nexus 7, Nexus 4, HTC One – EDITION Google Play and Samsung Galaxy S4), the good news is that its launcher is already available at download pe internet and can be installed on most running devices Android Jelly Bean.
How can we install the Android KitKat launcher (Google Experience Launcher) on a device running Android Jelly Bean?
- Download archive which contains Google Experience Launcher files; these are PreBuiltGmsCore.apk (Google Play Services 4.0), Velvet.apk (Google Search) si GoogleHome.apk (the launcher itself)
- extract its contents and transfer the applications to your Jelly Bean device from the equipment (or if you downloaded the archive directly to the device, use a extractor to unzip them)
- install files in the following order: Google Services, Google Search and Launcher
- Then press the button Home and select Google Experience Launcher ca launcher default
Download Google Experience Launcher.
Note: If you experience Google Search crashes, long press on the home screen of the new launcher and select Settings, then Voice. Then select Language to change the default language, then select back the language you use on the device. This method should solve the problem.
