A very useful guide if you share your computer or laptop with another person and for confidentiality reasons you want to disable recent files in File Explorer on Windows 10.
File Explorer in Windows 10 differentiates through its default display mode from previous systems, replacing Libraries (Windows Vista and Windows 7) or this PC (Windows 8). These can still be accessed from Navigation Panel (left side). In the Home folder, you can find both the favorite folders set by the system, as well as the folders and files recently accessed by the users.
Even if this feature can be useful for users, giving them quick access to the recently used files and folders, those who frequently share the computer with others will probably want to disable them in Home, to protect their privacy.
