Compared to taskbarthe on Windows XP and Windows Vista, Windows 7 Taskbar it is more customizable. RAM & CPU Monitor for Windows 7 Taskbar is an application that indicates in real time the consumption of RAM memory and processor (CPU) resources.

If you click on the screenshot above, notice the backgroundthe taskbar two lines. A red one that goes from left to right and a green one that goes in the opposite direction. Use RAM CPU Taskbar application for Windows 7
The application is relatively simple to use. If you choose to use it with the default (pre-set) settings, all you have to do is run “RAM CPU Taskbar.exe”. If you want to personalize it, the first tab “Main“, offers us some general settings. The time interval (refresh rate) at which to check the RAM resources & CPU, graphic style of indicator lines and startup management & updates.

In tab-ul “RAM” we can choose from which consumption level the indicator line should change its color, we have the option to choose the position on the taskbar, the colors for consumption levels and what RAM we want to monitor (Physical Memory, Virtual Memory or Total Memory / Both)

The last tab is the one dedicated to the processor (CPU). Here are some of the settings that can also be found in the tab “RAM“.

The application consumes approximately 8MB and can be set to run automatically when the computer starts (option present in the tab “Main”). After launching the application, access to the settings is done from the system tray (SYSTRAY). For this application to work, you must have it set visual style Aero and with a degree of transparency enough to see what is behind the taskbar.
